Bridal & Baby Showers
We love to host events for grown-ups too! Bridal and baby showers are so much fun at The Painting Paw! Think about
it...wine, best friends, painting...what could be better?
The options are really endless, but here are a few of our favorites!
Bridal Showers
- Create a set of dishes for the couple to be! The bride may pre-select her pieces and color palette so that all pieces
match.
- Each guest paints a tile to be mounted into a mirror frame for the newlywed's home.
- Guests paint serving dishes or home décor for the new couple.
- Each guest paints a Christmas ornament for the couple's first tree. They'll keep them forever and always
remember this shower!
Baby Showers
- Everyone paints picture frames for the special moments in the new baby's life. We've had first steps, first
haircut, first tooth, first bath, coming home, and many more.
- Each guest creates something for the new baby's room. Popular options are piggy banks, decorative plaques,
containers for cotton balls and Q-tips & picture frames.
- Each guest paints a tile for the new baby to be mounted into a mirror frame for the nursery. We can keep a tile
out to do baby's footprints when he or she arrives as well!
Ways our bridal and mommies-to-be have set up their pawties
- Guest of Honor pre-selects pieces in a wide price range and each guest pays for their own pottery to paint for her,
in lieu of gifts.
- Guests all select and pay for their own pottery to paint for themselves.
- Event hostess(es) subsidize the pottery, giving each guest a flat amount to put against the pottery they paint for themselves or for the guest of honor.
